  12. What is your definition of “annoying” after you have read all these questions?

1. Do you find human babies very cute?

Not in the slightest

2. Do you find non-human animal babies very cute?

Some of them, baby spiders aren’t very cute

3. Do you find adult animals very cute?

They can be. My horse is adorable

4. Do you find human adults and older adults (senior citizens) very cute?

No

5. Do you find teenagers very cute?

Ugh no!

9. Has other people considered you cute? If so, then what is your general response? If not, then why not? If you are not cute, then do you want to be cute?

I have been told I’m cute by men, usually American men

10. Do you find emoticons very cute?

The ones on here aren’t

11. What else do you find cute? Please state so.

Monsters Inc.

12. What is your definition of “cute” after you have read all these questions?

Um…

You ask too many questions. I don’t find you to be cute.

  1. Do you find human babies very cute?
    95% of them, yes.

  2. Do you find non-human animal babies very cute?
The further they are genetically related to Homo sapiens, the less so. Baby chimps, 90% of them. Baby opossums, 25% of them. Baby sponges, 0% of them.

  3. Do you find adult animals very cute?
“Very”, no. There are a few adult animals that have the “round and plump face”, the “big eyes”, and the “relatively large head” which triggers the “help-the-baby” response in humans. Koalas and tarsiers come to mind.

  4. Do you find human adults and older adults (senior citizens) very cute?
Again, only the 3% of them which have the characteristics mentioned in my answer to question 3. Melissa Harris-Perry (or whatever her name is these days) and Winston Churchill come to mind. But not “very”, just “cute”.

  5. Do you find teenagers very cute?
Same answer as question 4, except that the percentage is 8% (because a few more of them have yet to shed their childish appearance.)

  6. Do you find members of your own sex very cute?
Babies, yes – see question 1. If you mean non-babies, then the percentages are 2% (for adults), and 4% (for teenagers), because members of my sex tend to retain childish appearance at a somewhat lower rate than members of the opposite sex to mine.

  7. Do you find members of your opposite sex very cute?
See question 6 – now, the numbers would be 4% (for adults) and 12% (for teenagers), for the reasons givem above.

  8. Do you find yourself very cute?
    Definitely not!

  9. Has other people considered you cute? If so, then what is your general response? If not, then why not? If you are not cute, then do you want to be cute?
No, not since I was about 7; Makes sense to me; Because since that time I lack the physical traits already mentioned; No, I’d have to put on about eighty pounds to put on the requisite roundness in the face, and even then I’d me missing the big eyes and the relatively large head.

  10. Do you find emoticons very cute?
Yes, they pretty much have the necessary features, but they’re too removed from living beings to be “very” cute.

  11. What else do you find cute? Please state so.
Animated characters with the requisite traits, I suppose. There are many, of course.

  12. What is your definition of “cute” after you have read all these questions
Same as it was before I read them – see question 3.

Can’t quantify it, know it when I see it.

Cuteness seems to be highly correlated to “helplessness.” Babies, puppies, foolish persons, etc. Helplessness triggers our parenting/nurturing instincts, and causes us to desire to offer help and support.
