What is your favorite trivia question?

Who played piano for the E Street Band and Meat Loaf’s Bat Out of Hell and Bat Out of Hell 2?
What was the proper name of the robot on “Lost in Space”

(no - not “Robbie”, that was Forbidden Planet)
Robot.

(And, I used to get it confused with “Robbie”, too…)
“The Big Chill” is about a group of college friends reuniting to attend a funeral. Who was the then-unknown actor who was cast as the deceased friend (though most of his scenes were cut, and he only appears as the corpse)?
I think it was Kevin Costner. Off to IMDB…

Further Explanation
Same designer as Robbie, though

See, the reason I like this question so much is that, for a long time, everybody had seen that clip. “The thrill of victory” changed from season to season, but nothing represented “the agony of defeat” like that old footage of a ski jumper who fell before he’d even cleared the end of the jump, tumbling off, and bouncing in the snow. It was iconic, unmistakeable. And no one, well, almost no one, knew his name.
My father insists that in the orignal opening of the show the “Agony of Defeat” clip was an Irish hurling player getting his head smashed between two hurleys and that they had to change it because the player in question had died as a result of his injuries and ABC was sued by the guy’s family, but I’ve never been able to find out if that was true or not.

From the old “Dobie Gillis” show on TV: What was beatnick Maynard G. Krebs’ middle name? No fair searching.

Which African country’s name is also part of the names of three other countries, one of which is not in Africa? As a bonus, from which nation did each gain independence?

Guinea – a former French colony
Guinea-Bissau – a former Portuguese colony
Equatorial Guinea – formerly owned by Spain
Papua New Guinea – although once part of the British Empire, the eastern half of New Guinea was actually administered by Australia immediately prior to gaining independence

I didn’t know what double-landlocked meant so I looked it up but in doing so I got the answer. For the rest of you, a double-landlocked country means that it is totally surrounded by land-locked countries.
