What is your favourite actor/musician doing in on a parallel Earth?

To finish:

Paul McCartney - Teacher
George Harrison - Electrician
Richard Starkey - Hairdresser

George Martin - Best known as the producer for the Rolling Stones

If John Lennon were alive today, I expect he would be an embarrassing crank. He would have retroactively diminished the reputation of the Beatles and kids today would be mystified as to why every time this crazy old man comrs out of isolation and says something ridiculous it gets on the news.

I wonder about that too. McCartney seems mostly happy to make history (the recent collaboration with Kanye west and Rihanna seemed mostly about ensuring McCartney could say he had a best selling song in every decade of his adult life). Lennon could easily have become tedious. Or like Cat Stevens - on some weird tangent where his fans lament.

Kurt Cobain: school cleaner. Tidies up the gymnasium when the cheerleaders make a mess with errant pom poms.

Major Elvis Presley. Drowned in a boating accident while on leave in Hawaii, 1961.

Niel Hamburger,46th President of the United States.

I’m with you through the distinguished military career. After that, I think he’d be a professor at a state or community college teaching poetry and/or creative writing with a drinking problem that often threatens his employment.

Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, and Billy Joel would all be working at a gas station while trying to get gigs for their bar room band “The Three Bees.”

How did Mr. Zimmerman end up out east to meet up with the other guys? He didn’t take over the family business?

Nope. He hated Hibbing, and came East to try to make it as a Greenwich Village folk singer, and failed miserably. He answered an ad for a roommate “Into music” placed by Billy Joel, who got him a job working at the gas station where he and Springsteen were working.

Chuck Lorre heard this tale somehow, and made a successful sitcom based on the idea “Pump Boys” about three guys working in a gas station and running a whorehouse across the street.

Noddy Holder would be a schoolteacher.

Happy Easter; everybody’s having buns.

Captain Bryan Cranston, LAPD retired.

Not too far fetched. I just heard him on a podcast. He went through the police explorers. He was in college as criminal justice major with the intention of being a police officer. Then he took an acting class and the first scene they gave him involved making out with a pretty girl. And the rest is history.
