What is your IQ (Mensa+ Edition)

I went with a Fibonacci number. And not the puny one.

Okay. This one I can (almost) believe!

140 on an internet test.
But the thing is, that was the top of the scale.
And one of their answers was wrong.
Also, it was at the end of a long night shift.

For all I know I could be in the 300 range, easy.

Errant pedantry alone gets you into the 150s. Chief Pedant? 300s easily.

I’d like to take an IQ test now that I’m solidly an adult – all my past tests were taken as a teen or younger, and thus I doubt they apply anymore – but I looked at the quiz Mensa has on its website and despaired. Most were math or math-related: find the primes in this sequence, which is the perfect square, calculate a right triangle. For most people with math education, this is doable, but I have the math skills of a third grader.

And can you believe people still listen to him instead of you? I think it’s his ‘80s 8-bit voice. Nobody can resist that good ol’ 8-bit audio goodness.

Olmat (age 13) - 110 (aa)
Terman and Merril (age 16) - 125 (s)
various online testers (above age 33) - 133 to 159 (s)

It’s supposed to improve with age, right?
