Lucy, Colombiana and La Femme Nikita were all written, directed and/or produced by Luc Besson - Luc Besson - IMDb - with sequels coming soon for the first two. There is also Anna (2019) which is the same thing. Sounds like he is your go-to guy for the movies you like best.
My favorite are caper flicks. Films like:
The Sting
The Great Escape
The Italian Job
Oceans 11
Thomas Crown Affair
Kelly’s Heroes
And Aeon Flux…I think I thought there were more definitive ones out there. Course there’s always Rise of the Seven…(deep The Boys cut)
Besson also did Leon, which doesn’t exactly fit my niche but I love that movie too. He really does seem to like female killers as much as I do!
Luc Besson also produced or directed many movies with Jean Reno, one of which is Wasabi which falls into a genre I generally like which is action-comedy. I do like straight action movies and comedy movies but action-comedy is what I prefer which is probably also why I generally like the Marvel movies. I also enjoy Heist movies as well like The Sting and Ocean’s Eleven. I also like dramas where the dialogue is tight, like A Few Good Men.
In reality I am not that picky when it comes to movies, though I definitely stay away from Horror. I might hear that they are great movies like Parasite or Get Out but knowing they are horror films means they do not appeal to me and I will not watch them.

While I love the classics, from Casablanca to the Godfather and genre from Sci-Fi and classic Horror, I’m going to put my niche down as Drive-in and Exploitation films. Put me down for Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!, Beyond the Valley of the Dolls, Foxy Brown, Shaft, Five Deadly Venoms, Caged Heat, Django, Streetfighter.
I’m not a big fan of horror, either, but Get Out is more horror-lite. But his second film, Us, has left a scar on my psyche.
