What keys and how many do you have on your key chain?

I guess I’m not the only one with keys to my ex’s house

Apartment key for front door
Apartment key - knob lock
Apartment key - bolt lock
Mail key
Key to padlock (whereabouts unknown)
Key to car
Another car key
Key to my mother’s house
Key to doors at work
Key for Case 1841c tractors
Key to gate at work

I think that’s it. They’re all on some 1996 Olympics keychain, the kind with three removable rings on it.

I’m glad I’m not the only one with keys to my EX-House

– House
– Ignition key for my Cavalier
– Door/trunk key for Cavalier
– Key to mom’s van that opens everything but the glovebox
– Key to the door-handle at work
– Key to the deadbolt at work
– Key that used to open the front door before we got the locks changed
– Key to the backdoor from before the lock change
– Key that I think is for my Dad’s pickup truck, but I’m not sure

These are all shoved onto a ring with two pewter things on it, one’s got the NASCAR logo and the other has the CART logo. I keep telling myself I’m gonna get rid of the changed-lock key and the one for Dad’s pickup, but I never get around to it. All my keys face the same way, except the van key which is double-sided and pisses me off. Incidentally, the ignition key for the Chevalier is shaped like florida and has SSEXXA written backwards on it.

3 for my home
Key to my apartment
Key to my apartment building’s laundry room
Key to my apartment’s mailbox

4 for transportation
Key for my vehicle door & transmission
Key for my husband’s vehicle door & transmission

Other
One SecurID token for logging into work remotely
One scannable membership thingy for my exercise club (where I never go anymore)

So 7 keys and two other

But the coolest thing is minature black leather jacket key chain. Whenever I meet a new young child I entertain them by using the jacket as a finger puppet.

NOW I know why men jingle so much when they play with their keys in their pockets!

I keep my house keys separate from my car keys, so…trunk and ignition key go on my Sgt.Pepper keychain. Second key chain has dead bolt lock key, door knob key and the key to the garage door lock.

Keys-
1 house
3 office plus elevator key
2 car keys
keychain from when I visited Vietnam
grocery store thingie(discount club)
video store id
bottle opener… never know when you need it!

Dangit…now I am jealous! Big Beatle fan <---------

4 for me:

House key
Key for the Supra
Key for the Ranger
Key for the Accord

I really need to get one of those clip keychains so I can take a key off easily. It would help now that it’s getting cold, so I can warm the car up, then lock the house.

House key–on a Raptor keychain from Cedar Point, you know, when they take your picture while you’re on the coaster. Cool.

Car keys–one for the ignition, one for the door. There’s three keychains hooked to gether for that one. A Driver’s Mart keychain, a grocery store savings club card, and my personal favorite, a miniature Tupperware Shape-O-Toy.

So that’s three keys, four keychains. I have a bazillion keychains, by the way. I love keychains. But I also have a tendency to misplace my keys. I learned a loooooong time a go that the more keychains I have hooked together, the easier they are to find. Works for me, anyway.

Mailbox
House
2 little silver ones to my mom’s big suitcase
Another little silver one for my violin case

Ooooh, me too! So, my house, car and remote go onto a network of 4 differently-colored Cape May County Mosquito Commission keychains. I can’t miss that monstrous gob of plastic and metal in the bottom of my purse.

For work, my keys hang from a cord I can put around my neck. They include building and office keys, ditto to another building and bird lab key with a US Embassy/Moscow fob and a Sears screwdriver thingy.

2 keys for the house on one key ring, 1 key for work on a diffrent key ring.

Key chains have to be chains dammit!

Ummm… more keys than I should have at this age?

2 keys to my mom’s car even though I can’t drive, I won’t lose them and she will so I’m the last set of back up keys.
1 key to my room, oddly enough it does have a lock, my dad just built it that way.
1 key to the garage, our 4 car garage was made livable, I live there with my brother.
1 key to the front gate and door to the house although I never use it.
1 key to nothing that has my name on it where the key part should be and a doggy on it too
1 keychain “I only LOOK sweet and innocent”
1 Ralph’s club discont thingy
and quite a few of the coke tab thingies

Not much but it looks too big for a kid my age.
