I saw two birds I had never seen before today. I was able to identify the first one as a Bobolink. I haven’t had any luck on the second one though. It had a dark head, whitish body with a red patch on its chest. I was looking up at it so I didn’t get a good view of its back, but it looked kind of like the back of a Downy Woodpecker. It’s beak kind of looked like a Zebra finch’s, only more yellow instead of orange. When it flew away it looked like the underside of its wings were also red.
