The street is 50 feet from my house and about 30 feed wide. Thinking about a fixed lens bullet style camera in black, but I have no idea what sort of lens I’m going to want. Most of the cameras I’m look at are advertising “super wide angle” which doesn’t sound like what I want.
You can get a good quality IP security camera with an 80-degree viewing angle for $65, and not-so-hot but probably still adequate ones for your needs for less.
Other considerations are ease of setup, responsive tech support and decent night images.
