I was wondering what kind of silicone is used for Mack’s Pillow Soft® Silicone Putty Ear Plugs.
Is it something I can buy in bulk and not poison myself?

Ask these guys.. I’ve found them fairly helpful in the past. If any of their products are applicable, they’ll let you know.
Smooth-on was who I was going to suggest as well. I’ve used some of their two part silicones for pouring into molds. They have a reference on their site that compares the hardness of the various shore ratings to household items (eraser, rubber band etc) so you can get an idea.
I think some of their products meant for the stage (or to be brushed on to a person) might be squishier instead of rubbery-er. But I’m not sure.
A lot of their products are for sale on Amazon, so you if check the ratings, you may get an idea as to what people used them for and if it worked or not and they’re really popular so going out on google will get you a lot of information. Check forums/reddit too.
EDIT: I just looked the link in the OP. I don’t know if any of the smooth-on products can be reformed after they’ve dried (maybe they can, I really don’t know), so you might want to look into that.
