this is a question that perhaps only the moderators can answer-:
What kinds of junk do you have to censor/remove from these boards?
The great joy of this site is that we can always count on good, appropriate posts-
The Great Debates are great, the humble opinons are humble, the MPSIMS is pointless–and it’s all a lot of fun.
How much work does it take to keep it that way?
OR, in other words–how many damn fools are out there?
All the posts here are appropriate for the subject, and written in correct, polite English.
Is there a problem with, say, obscene posts? Or just plain crazy people who try to post Unabomber-style manifestos?
Would it be improper to ask for (funny?) examples of the stuff that you have had to delete?
We remove pornography and we delete spam, especially “Turn $6 into 6 gadzillion dollars fast”, with extreme prejudice. Giving specific examples of deleted posts kind of defeats the purpose of deleting the posts.
This sort of question belongs in ATMB, but this sort of thread attracts trolls. So, I’m going to close rather than move it.
