I can write backwards, so if I am on one side of a window I can write legibly so the person on the other side can read it.
I can also write with both hands, but haven’t done it in a while, so my left isn’t quite as neat as my right.
I can talk out loud and type something totally different at the same time.
I too can pick things up with my toes, as can most of my family, so I never understood the amazement it causes with some people.
Many years ago, maybe early 1970s in Saskatchewan, all bottled beer was sold in stubby bottles like these. (Blue was what I drank at the time.)
A common game in bars at the time was to hold a bottle like that with your little finger underneath, put a quarter on top, and walk your fingers up far enough to turn over the quarter. If you could do that and walk your fingers down to the start position, you won. If you dropped the coin or the bottle, you had to chug it, buy a round for the table, and try again. I don’t think I ever failed, no matter how drunk I was. Many people in that particular bar were impressed.
Up until age 30 I could touch my elbows behind my back. I could do it alone by sitting on the floor and leaning back, or standing up with assistance from someone.
now, 25 years later, I can get within an inch or so.
