What "lost" Christmas present would YOU like to find, years later

I missed this post back then - I like this idea!

I had an official Willy Wonka Candy mold set, back when the movie came out in 1971. I used the molds a lot, but never wrapped the bars, because I knew I’d run out of wrappers and then I couldn’t get any more. Som I still have all of them. The molds have gotten brittle in the last 51 years. Don’t think I can use them anymore.

Oh yes, I always wanted a pedal car too. Mind you, we lived out in the country on a hill with not much in the way of flat surfaces it could have easily run on. Oh well, a bit later I got a chemistry set, which evolved over the years as real apparatus and reagents were added, so I can’t complain…

Thanks for the link. Based on that I found in the 1978 book the present of my dreams as a kid “The Micronauts mobile exploration lab”. I asked Santa for it every year for probably 3-4 years in a row but he never came through. Given the price (some $60.00 in today’s money) and the fact that I probably would have tired of it after a bit, I think he probably made the right choice.
