Allure Since its first debuted.
Entertainment Weekly Love it
Fortune I got it for my husband, but he is ignoring it
Vanity Fair so cool
And some Kraft foods quarterly that I got through the internet for free.
I am somewhat surprised to be the first to note this one (or perhaps the first to 'fess up?): O, for the sake of weekend binge reading, and the bookmarks.
My occasional news-stand pick-ups are Architectural Digest, Vanity Fair, and Style at Home.
I used to get a BH&G cross-stich subscription, but they decided not to continue it, except at Christmas time. I do go on a holiday magazine binge every November.
As I see I’m the only one to subscribe to it so far, and indeed someone in another thread actually admitted to thinking it had ceased publication some years ago, let me just provide a link by way of a quick plug for Private Eye, which is a satirical magazine that generally includes more, and more accurate, news than any of the actual newspapers in the UK. It’s been going since the sixties, and was owned by Peter Cook until his death (although I believe it was around before his involvement).
It really is a remarkable little magazine. Behind the scenes in all the right places at all the right times. Well worth the reading - you’re sure to find out something you didn’t know.
