What media player do you use?

I had music match on my old computer and the only thing I remember about it was that it was horribly slow. I like foobar because it always opens instantly and it doesn’t slow down my computer when you have multiple programs running.

For videos I use VLC player, because like others said, it can play virtually anything. I don’t like its navigation, so I’ll go ahead and give Zoom Player a try.

I also have Media Player Classic for Real Player files. I don’t come across them often, but its annoying to not be able to play them when I do.

Zoom Player will do many things, but it comes out of the box in configurations that I don’t like. You have to go to the advanced settings to really get it going, like time skip using the keyboard arrows and the mouse wheel, turning off the text that lets you know you’ve time skipped, making it leave the other files in the playlist alone when you open new files.
