As an example, one of my kids was having problems with anxiety. During intake, rather than something small like the GAD-7 assessment, we were given a much longer assessment that was clearly intended to identify a wide range of potential mental health issues – depression, anxiety, BPD, OCD, ODD, plus a host of other emotional, social, and behavioral issues that I didn’t recognize. It was broken up into sections, and it was clear that each section was targeting some specific mental health issue, but the sections weren’t labeled as such.
The whole assessment was probably over 100 questions, and would have taken us 20-30 minutes to complete. Everything I’m finding online is much shorter.
Any idea what assessment that might have been? Or was it perhaps a collection of assessments rolled into one by our health care provider with branding removed?
