What More Evidence You Need?

I’m not fond of hearing bullshit, and prefer to avoid wasting time on it.

Maybe you should go read the current thread about the Dio show? I’m sure you will find it fascinating and enlightening.

I for one welcome our new downy-soft overlords…

I don’t put posters on ignore because then I’d never find out if your brain cell divides. Or if the attendents cease humoring you by transcribing your crayon-scrawled screeds. Or if you stop getting knowledge from the radio waves you receive on the fillings in your teeth.

Shut down the government and lots of government employees would be laid off. Is that good for the economy? There would be a lot of people in the service not getting paid. Would that hurt the economy? Would it cut spending? Would that be good or bad?
The parks would be closed at the beginning of visitor season. There would be a lot of money not flowing into support businesses and local economies. Would that be bad for the economy?
Think before you post. It is not about the size of the government. It would be harmful to the economy.

Everything has potential for economic impact. This is about the scope or impact of that potential. Smaller government implies fewer employees being laid off. That has less economic impact. A smaller military, not deployed all over the world in questionable wars means the same. Fewer government programs meas less revue impact going either way under any circumstances. That is a positive economic influence. The parks being closed is only an issue from a park ranger standpoint. People will find places to go hiking fishing and camping with or without the National Parks. But it makes a nice heart string tugger from the political bargaining chip standpoint.

You are one post away from the list. If you can’t communicate without insults, you won’t be communicating with me.

Is there a minimum number of insulting posts required to get on your ignore list?
Are regular insults enough, or do the insults need to get one a warning?
I’ve never gotten a warning but I am willing to if it guarantees me a spot on your list (it’s definitely easier than going out and buying more colanders!).

CMC fnord!

The weird part is, gonzo didn’t even insult him.

Fortunately for the G20, this OP is not too big to fail.

Perhaps he finds factual rebuttal insulting.

Oh oh, you used the “butt” word. Can we use the “butt” word in the pit?

Hypocrite much?

Works for me. I unplug my nose in your general direction, etc.

My goodness. Monty Python? At long last, sir, have you no shame?

Didn’t Red Green do anything appropriate?

I don’t think duct tape could fix what is broken with Nadir.

All I ever did to get on his ignore list - and have him wish death upon me- was point out massive factual errors on his part. On the plus side there’s something satisfying about him being too much of a pussy to even see me calling him a pussy should I wish to call him a pussy.

Is it pissy to give posies to your pussy posse, or is it just passé?

The Federal budget now stands at a level 140% greater than when Bill Clinton announced the end of big government.

Yeah, well, most of that’s a pension plan rather than government as such.

What year are you marking?
What has been the CPI during the same period of time?
Which political party do you hold as most responsible for this state of affairs?

I think Nadir’s nasty response is more out of shock that gonzo strung together five coherent sentences with a sensible point, as opposed to his usual Ralph Wiggum “My cat’s breath smells like cat food” level of commentary.

It is funny, however, how gonzo has finally lived up to the reputation that Le Jaq unfairly gave him, as being a destroyer of inept arguments. gonzo totally schooled the OP.
