I think the dog was Rags. I work with cooler robot dogs than him (and they don’t leave batteries around the house).

That one might not be too hard to make. IIRC, it was a revolving darkroom door painted white with a meter and a couple of lights on top.
We had one at my first job, back in the 1970s. If you could find an old one still in decent shape somewhere (big if, maybe) it would be pretty easy to recreate.
