Sorry to get off the topic, but Crowded House and Split Enz! What a blast from the past. They were my favorite bands, back in the day. Definately underrated here in the States.

Back to the OP. It was in fact “War of the Roses” where Kathleen Turner hinted she had chopped up Michael Douglas’ favorite pooch and served it to him. As manhatten mentions above, the dog turns up later - it was a bluff. “The Prince of Tides” wishes it had this much fun in it, a very dry film about the love affair between Babs Striesands shrink and her client Nick Nolte. A great sedative for insomniacs.
