What % of your adult life at your current job?

I was 20 when I started out on my own. I’m 63 and I’ve been on my current job 18 years. So it’s 34% of my life.

Depends on what exactly is meant by “current job.” I’ve been a self-employed photographer for most my career, so if we define it as that, it’s been 85-90% of my adult life, depending on what you count. In terms of exclusively doing this to support myself and nothing else, 85%. In terms of my current photography niche (weddings, events), about 60%.

26%

I’m 51 at the moment. I started working at my current employer when I was 18, so 100% of my adult life or 66% of my entire life. Luckily I haven’t been doing the same job for the entire time. I’ve moved around among the different departments and I completed my degree while working here.

Roughly 25%.

40%. Been on my own for 42 years (I was self supporting in grad school) in in my current job for 17.

Previous job was a better percentage - 63%

25% of my adult life at my current company

I’m a 100%er.

I started playing paying music gigs in high school and never stopped. Sure, I had day jobs, but always played music. Now that’s all I do plus teaching music.

52 years old.

43% with the same employer; 27% in the same job.

Independent for 20 years. At the same job (company has gone through a merger, but I still work for the same group of people) for 13.5. So, roughly 67% of my life.

29 years of adulthood. 18 at current job. So 62%.
