Carbonite seems to be popular, but there’s a key problem I have with what they told me today. It deletes what I delete, mimicking my hard drive perfectly. If it’s no longer on the hard drive, it gets deleted from Carbonite afte 30 days.
I want to back up every document and photo and video I have and have ever had securely on the cloud. Not just what I have currently in use on my laptop.
What very secure cloud-based storage site will both automatically protect the current material on my laptop and allow me to store all other older “archived” material? I’m tired of shuttling around portable hard drives and wondering which one has which stuff.
