What PC things today will be politically incorrect in the future?

I’m glad you don’t have a source, because I’m stealing that!

It is a terrible age to live in.

Wait, are you saying that if you pee on/outside the toilet you don’t bother cleaning it up? And you think it’s okay to leave public restroom facilities like that for other users, whether men or women? :dubious:

I’m not wearing your wedding ring, but I have no hesitation in affirming that you need to either 1) learn to aim better, 2) wipe up your messes, or 3) sit the fuck down on a toilet seat when peeing, since you evidently can’t be relied upon for accuracy at distance.

I agree on the fundamental unimportance of toilet seat configuration when not in use, however. Since civilized people confine their effluvia to the inside of the toilet bowl, :dubious: it is not an unreasonable burden to expect individual users to take the responsibility for adjusting the other parts of the toilet according to their individual preferences.

Cis-Feminine Semi-Indigenous North Pre-America Immigrant doesn’t fit on the lift tickets.

Quadroon and Octaroon aren’t going anywhere.

the greatness of Dr. Martin Luther King would be beyond dispute, except by a few recalcitrant Klansmen and assorted rednecks, right?

Wrong! We’re already seeing left-wing “diversity” advocates taking potshots at Dr. Martin Luther King, who is increasingly being disparaged as a cisgender male who fails to represent the LGBT community.

One thing i notice is how “okay” stereotyping gays is among celebrities who actually aren’t homophobic. PAtton Oswalt commented on this in one of his standup act, how gay men are portrayed almost exactly the same in movies. No one really seems to complain about it, but I wonder if such things might be considered offensive in 20 years.

 Got an example to clarify what you’re talking about? “Portrayed almost exactly the same” as what?

Trump is a euphemism for fart over here - just saying

Fashionable, always have something insightful and amusing to say(“Quip machines” is how Oswalt put it), they are socially adept, handsome, and get really excited about decorating. Jon Stewart also used tons of gay jokes in his Daily Show act, mainly in response to right wing haters, but still utilizing his own stereotypes in the process. So if a right-wing dude said, “Gays are trying to take over the nation”, Stewart would say something along the lines of, “If that was true, the nation would FAB-u-lous!”

And a number of mainstream Republicans, who didn’t like him because he palled around with communists.

Cite?

Equal treatment for equal behavior?

It’s almost illegal today.

Your cite indicates the opposite of what I presume your point ws.

Reread it. The point is it’s already politically incorrect to treat people equally if it has a disparate impact on a pet class.

Nothing in your citation suggests that people are being treated equally.

Changing policy based solely on “disparate impact” is that very concept.

Quite a few years ago I heard a comedian (Elaine Boosler?) predict that Mr, Mrs, Ms, etc. will someday be replaced by the gender neutral term “Person”, commonly abbreviated to “Ps.” and pronounced “Pizz.”

The future may be very lame… I am still pissy that football commentators can no longer say “Bomb”

In the future, it will no longer be PC to call PC’s PC’s. The will instead be referred to as Under-Desk-Porn-Funnel-And-Internetucal-Ignorance-Ad-Displayor-Machine Devices. Sponsered by Doritos and IntuitGeicoKia.com

I sincerely hope (but doubt) that in the future people will have some respect for those with mental illnesses and stop using derogatory terms like Nutso, Psycho, Wackjob, Wingnut, etc. It seems the stigma of mental illness is the only one it’s still OK to apply.
