What Plane Is Flying Over Your House?

…there’s a UPS plane labelled as Tokyo to Anchorage flying eastward over Saskatchewan. I have no idea WTF that plane is doing but it ain’t getting to Anchorage this way!

Wait a minute, there’s a plane from Seoul to Anchorage doing the same thing. I’m guessing it’s just not updating for the leg from Anchorage to wherever?

I’m amazed how many of these planes are going over Saskatchewan! I tend to think planes in our airspace are from Canadian airports going to either Saskatoon or Regina airports, but there’s a plane from Paris to LA and another from Chicago to Tokyo.

Depending on the route, intercontinental routes from the US can spend a lot of time over Canada.
