Recently we’ve had the Wolfskehl Prize for proving Fermat’s Last Theorem, and the Ansari X Prize for getting into space. In the early years of aviation, there were prizes for assorted achievements. Given a decent prize fund - say $10M - what challenge would you lay down for humanity?
