I haven’t watched any U.S. TV series more than once beginning-to-end; however, I’m sure I’ve seen every episode of MAS*H at least twice over the years. Mostly from when I was a kid. I don’t watch hardly any non-sports TV these days other than Netflixing the occasional highly-reviewed show such as Breaking Bad or The Sopranos. Even then, once through is enough for me.
I *do *watch quite a few Korean TV series, which are different than U.S. shows in that they have a specific scripted start/middle/end, typically about 16-24 hour-long episodes. One of these series, My Lovely Sam-soon, I’ve watched twice. Another one, Stairway to Heaven, is due for a second watch in the near future.
I’ve watched the first season of The West Wing and the first two seasons of Criminal Minds and Misfits multiple times, as well as the Soul Society arc of Bleach.
The Young Ones
Sherlock Holmes (with Jeremy Brett, which I think was several series or something. I don’t know that it has one specific name!)
Peep Show (probably 4x)
Freaks & Geeks
Spaced (probably 4x)
Arrested Development
Blackadder
Jeeves & Wooster
I have a terrible memory and thus a complete list is impossible but shows that I have made an effort to watch from start to finish over the last couple of years:
MASH
Eureka (to ease my pain after it’s cancellation)
Leverage (see Eureka)
Fame
West Wing
Pushing Daisies
Firefly
Veronica Mars (In preparation for next years movie!)
And thanks to this thread I now have a wish list of others to prep for.
I started this when I had a long commute by GO Train. 1.5 hrs each way is 4 1hr episodes a day and saved my sanity.
Firefly at least three times.
Deadwood twice.
Wonder falls three times.
MASH at least twice.
Star Trek TOS, The Brady Bunch and Gilligan’s island many times.
