What should my CPU temp be?

I’ve been having some problems with my computer, and one thing that might be wrong is the CPU overheating. I use Speed Fan, which shows that after a little while, the CPU temp seems to be about 34c.

I’ve tried looking up temperature ranges on line, but am having a hard time finding something definate. I have a feeling that 30 - 40 is probably the range, but let me give my CPU info, and, if you know, please tell me what it should be running at.

Pentium 4
2.4GHZ
800mhz fsb
And, I don’t know if it makes a difference, but it does have hyperthreading which I have enabled.

Thank you.

IT person here. Anything under 50C is running pretty cool for a typical computer. Yours seems fine and on the cool side. That is good. That is all.

Cool, just what I needed to know. And such a quick responce too, icing on the cake. Thanks
