It is the right answer. Maybe DenazIIfication to emphasize the sequel nature.
ETA that would be better with a serifed font.

Indeed- see Pomerantsev’s Nothing Is True And Everything Is Possible.
How about “Respect” - for truth, for the struggling, for law, for science - for whatever’s been damaged.
Just don’t call it anything that includes or derives from “reconstruct”. That has baggage and will only get the Lost Causers excited again.
That may require us to crush the social nets and Reality TV, which have created a population that believes drama for clout is the meaning of life.
I like the “restoration” best. We’re going to restore things to what they should be. “Delousing” may be more accurate but also more divisive.
I have a laundry list of priorities- Destroy the Gilded Scrotum Ballroom and rebuild the East Wing to what it used to be, save for minor changes as determined by the appropriate controlling committees. If that grotesque arch gets built, tear it down. Fire every person hired by DJT in the federal government. Fire every single person at ICE and replace with people who don’t get off on cruelty. Get Andrew Jackson off the $20 bill and put Harriet Tubman on as has planned for ages. It’s Mount Denali and The Gulf of Mexico again. When DJT finally dies, declare a week of national celebration with flags flying proudly at full staff. Investigate Kash Patel’s misuse of government aircraft and personnel and send that pipsqueak to prison. On day 1 of the first Democratic administration, sign EOs canceling every single one of DJT’s EOs.
That’s my idea. The fundamental problem, going beyond the slogan, is that a lot of what was done in a dictatorial way can only be undone in a dictatorial way. And I want to keep rule by decree to a very short period, after which we go back to rule by law. Reversing the East Wing debacle is an example of what probably cannot be done. To do it properly would take legislation and more than four years, and the model of doing it with contributions is too Trumpy to repeat. We’d never hear the end of how much taxpayer money and time it took the Democrats to undo what the Republicans did fast and for free. (But maybe that’s too pessimistic. Shapiro would get it done.)
I’m thinking personnel is policy, and that should be the focus of restoration, or centering, or whatever we call it.
I’m willing to ruffle a few feathers to get rid of the hideous monstrosity that will be the ballroom. I’m not sure there is any hay to be made by Republicans over this, those images of wrecking balls being taken to a national treasure at the whim of one person rubbed a lot more people the wrong way than using government money to correct it will.
How would knocking down Trump’s new ballroom in order to build a third building “correct” anything? The original wing is gone.
You build it back like it was. You restore Jackie Kennedy’s Rose Garden. We don’t need a freaking Versailles.
2Fast2Fuhrer?
DeMAGAtize
The Great Undoing.
Roll back every single thing this administration has inflicted on the country. No matter what the cost.
The Great UnFucking of America?
Even better.
The Refounding Fathers
Whether we need it or not, Marjorie Merriweather Post bequeathed it to the United States – it being Mar-a-Lago.
Reversing everything Trump did is impractical and might wind up as even more over-budget and behind-schedule boondoggle that Trump’s were. If it took longer to rebuilt the old East Wing than it took to build the giant ballroom, it would be unnecessary bad publicity for the Democrats.,.
Take back Mar-a-Lago and make it, partly, a museum of Trump’s crimes. Something similar might be done with the ballroom complex.
Overnight I received an email from one of my Senators. It was calm and sensible reading at first. Until you noticed all the coded language. Once you got “below the fold” it turned into full fantasy Republicanism
No insane frothing, just point after point about all the wonderful things the Rs are doing to restore the Constitution and Freedom and Democracy and Respect for LAW after decades of evil Democrats trying to destroy everything You stand for.
Plenty of mainstream Rs, not frothing MAGAts, are nodding approvingly over their coffee this morning as they read this “common sense” description of America being Restored.
Any thought that reversing what the Rs have done will be easy or popular is wildly misplaced. I rather doubt the opportunity will come around in the next 40 years.
We may as well be discussing what to call the new country we’re making on land we haven’t yet identified.
Ain’t big enough.
The word that ocurred to me was sisyphean.
