Did you watch the movie?
I just spent four days binging on three seasons of The 100. I think there were around fifteen 40 minute episodes per season. It was just like watching a really long movie. In my defense I was sick in bed for at least the first three days.
many times - but its on queue for tomorrow.
I got caught up on The Good Place and it’s good. Today I started Luke Cage and Goliath. I’ve got a week more of vacation, it will probably be more Netflix and Amazon exclusive programming.
Usually on my winter break I binge on a ton of old stuff I love. Like Home Movies and Jeeves & Wooster. But dammit there is so much good tv out there right now I can’t keep up!
Just finished the first season of Karl Pilkington’s The Moaning of Life. Every episode has been a damned delight. Finished it overnight. Probably finishing the second by the end of the week.
Black Sails ,Quarry, The Curse of Oak Island, Aftermath, Colony, 2016 Raiders Games
Only one episode a day (but they’re about 1hr40min each): Midsomer Murders. I’m up to season 11, apparently they have an unending supply of eminently murderable upper class snobs.
Top Gear. Most of the seasons / series of the revamped BBC version (starting c. 2002) are now available for free streaming on Prime. I have no idea how long they’ve been available but I’m thrilled. I’ve been watching 2 or 3 episodes a day since learning they were on Prime. I’ll keep it up till christmas break ends or I run out of free episodes to watch.
I’m not much of a binge-watcher, BUT within the past week, I have watched “Sharknado 3” and “Sharknado 4”.
Does that count?
I just finished binge-watching “Better Things” on FX. Pamela Adlon Rocks!
She’s like the thinking person’s (one who actually has to live, work, pay bills, and be an Actual Adult who ages in this real world where people don’t have their perfect-lived asses popped out of a make-up trailer every 15 minutes) ‘Lorelai Gilmore’.
Yes! Better Things was wonderful.
I’m starting Preacher in about … 3 minutes.
If you can get hold of it I would strongly rec a BBC drama called The Missing. S1 is excellent, S2 even more so. You don’t need to have seen S1 before S2.
I just finished binging what seasons of The Chase Netflix has (they need to add more gameshows, dangit) and The White Rabbit Project. In the process of binging Trollhunters, Mad Men, and Cosmos (3-4 hour worth at a sitting).
The Pinkerton’s
Andy Griffith
OA
Just binge-watched Season 1 of Firefly for the first time.
Can’t wait for… ohhhh. Sad Christmas.
Just started Season 2 of The Man in the High Castle, three eps in. Already *much *better than the first season although the three leads are still the least interesting characters.
I binge-watched the first (and only, so far) season of Occupied, on Netflix, in two nights this past week. It’s very, very good. And eerily prophetic, maybe. (It’s set in the near future, where the US has pulled out of NATO and Norway is trying to break it’s dependence on fossil fuels, which the EU and Russia are *not *happy about.) I was hooked from the start.
OP, I recommend the U.K. version of Being Human. The first three seasons are terrific.
I think I got hooked after seeing the scene where she was trying to do voice over work and getting a call from a teacher about her strong-willed daughter.
Just finished The White Rabbit Project
In addition just went through two subtitled French shows
A Very Secret Service. It has Hugo Becker of Gossip Girl fame in it. Set during the Algerian War, in Paris.
Plus Call My Agent. About a French agency which represents various famous actors, all of whom appear as themselves. Its fun, even if you are having to head off to French Wikipedia to find out who exactly is it who is appearing this week.
Turns out the French make more than just softcore porn and headache inducing arthouse films.
