I’ve been looking through the various news reports. Lots of hyperbole and angst. Gasp, she’s wiped her server.Has any reporter actually researched and gotten specifics? The OS and software? Yeah, I know its asking a lot to expect a modern day reporter to provide pertinent details. Hyperbole is so much easier and sells better. But accidents do happen. :smiley:

Linux is the cheapest option. Ubuntu is extremely good and comes with Postfix and Dovecot. Theres quite a few Linux options.

I’d assume of course the Clintons had a technical staff member set this up. I can’t see Hillary managing a server on her own.

Has the OS and server been reported?

The login URL was published by Gawker, and it’s plain that she’s running a MS Exchange server on Windows Server 2008 R2.
