I’ve not had the pleasure, actually. But I do enjoy the rathergood.com video of Electic Six’s “Gay Bar.” Singing kittens. What will they think of next?

“Obstacle 2” by Interpol, because Turn on the Bright Lights won’t leave my cd player.
You’ll all hate me. I hate me. I can’t get it out of my head. I don’t know where it came from. I don’t know when it will go. But I will be ecstatic when it does go:
Blue, by Eiffel 65
Mr. Brightside by the Killers. I can’t stop listening to this album…
ok, I just watched it again, and I’m out of my mind. that’s not the video I’m thinking of at all… maybe it was another by Electric Six. or maybe the zombies got me when I wasn’t looking. @_@
no sympathy here; that’s a great album.
hehe, you & my girlfriend both. as she most aptly put it, “it’s like Pop Rocks and soda. in my BRAIN.”
“Nothing’severgonnastandinmyway(again)” by Wilco
“Anna Ng” by They Might Be Giants. I just got the “Gigantic” DVD yesterday, and the song’s been playing in my head since we saw it last night.
Right now “A Prayer for England” by Massive Attack, because I listened to it on the way to work a few minutes ago.
Surprisingly, two of my favorites, as obscure as they are.
Adam
The song “Triplets” from The Band Wagon:
We do everything alike
We look alike
We dress alike, we walk alike
We talk alikeAnd what is more
We hate each other very much
We hate our folks, etc.
Funny song, but enough is enough!
I woke up with UNC’s secondary fight song (“Here comes Carolina-lina, we hail from NCU!”) in my head. I mean, I love my Tarheel boys, but where did that come from?
The Benny Hill music (yackity sax) comes and goes and comes and goes.
The Super Size Me theme song.
(just saw the movie again)
godfuckindamn if it ain’t that stupid Killers song “Somebody Told Me.”
…tremorviolet, you suck. =P
I’m not surprised, I find the song sort of hypnotic, so it’s only a matter of time before it loops in my head too.
The song currently in my head is “Paperthin Hymn” by Anberlin. That and “Dead Heart” by Radford have taken up near-permanent residence lately.
I’ve just acquired a 7-CD set of every documented Pink Floyd rarity. It’s all the single mixes and promo edits and alternate mixes that have been released somewhere on a record or CD. It’d cost thousands of dollars to collect all the sources of these recordings!
So the song in my head varies, but I keep coming back to “Astronomy Domine.”
Well, thanks to a thread HERE, it’s “Mahna Mahna.” You know, the one by the Muppets?
Raspberry Beret, and I can’t for the life of me fathom why. Please help me—I need it out.
Funny, but I always have one song or another playing in my head. You could grab me by the arm at any given moment and ask me about it and I could give you the song title. It’s like having my own personal soundtrack. Except that a lot of the songs really suck, so it’s as if I were in a really bad movie. (In a lot of ways, come to think of it.)
At the moment, “Smooth” by Santana seems to be in heavy rotation in my head. (Probably because it was on the radio while I drove to work. Eight hours ago.)
Pain by Jimmy Eat World
