France cancelled soccer until September
Rugby League is expected to be back on in Australia on 28 May.
I have worked with a few Americans and Canadians who have picked it up easily and sometimes become fans while working out here.
The NRL has lots of highlight packages where you can see how familiar the skills are for US football fans.

Some major tennis stars are playing a computer tennis tournament online. Eurosport has all(?) of it on their youtube, entirely free.
some UK soccer players don’t want to resume the season , they have young kids and some have pregnant wives. Can’t say I blame them.
How about a virtual Kentucky Derby with simulations of historic champion horses?: Secretariat Slight Favorite in Virtual Kentucky Derby - BloodHorse
Little league world series cancelled for the first time.
Thanks for the heads-up. This will be the first Kentucky Derby Day in years that I won’t be at my local track, wagering on local racing and the Derby, so I’ll look forward to this. Thanks again!
The Atlanta Track Club postponed the Peachtree Road Race - the world’s largest 10K - from July 4th to Thanksgiving Day. I’m surprised they’ve waited this long, but as a friend pointed out, the Peachtree accounts for about 85% of the ATC’s yearly revenue.
On the plus side, cooler temperatures should make for faster times and fewer heat-related injuries. On the minus side, that means they’ll have to cancel the Thanksgiving Day Half-Marathon, which will end my three-year streak. Oh well, first world problems.
The Auckland Warriors are the first people to have been given approval to fly into the country since the imposition of travel bans. Queensland seems to have joined the yea’s Lining up the ducks and so the players are probably going into camps in the next couple of days and the restart is broadly on schedule.
Of course, given the NRL players well earned and unimpeachable track record of complying with the most basic societal behaviours and expectations, there is every chance that faced with the necessary isolations, restrictions and regulations of these times that they will be compliant and responsible citizens, nea verily angels, for the entire period outside the 80minutes per week they are highly paid thugs.
For example, who would have known that carousing on motorbikes, taking potshots at beer cans and posting selfies on Facebook were apparently traditional indigenous cultural events?
Formula 1 hopes to return in early July with Austria grand prix.
ESPN has obtained the English language rights to the Korean Baseball League and will start broadcasting them tomorrow. They’ll be broadcasting 6 regular season games each week, at 5:30 am ET Tuesday-Friday, 4 am ET on Saturday and 1 am ET on Sundays on ESPN2
I guess you can record them and watch at a normal time.

AFL (Australian Rules) starts again for Round 2.
Thursday night, cold by our standards so the heater is going full on, with a big screen TV, a decent bottle of red and two teams I loathe (Richmond & Collingwood) playing … almost as good as it gets.
