When one wrestler leaps onto the other from atop the ropes, no doubt he’ll land six feet away.
Hee! And the other guy will still sell it.
Interesting article about Draft Kings. In addition to Belorussian soccer, there ping pong going on in Ukraine:

Overwatch League is still running weekend games.
Masters is looking at November to play the tourney.
UFC says they are doing a match April 18th , I assume with no fans.
The Bundesliga in Germany has started training again, albeit in very limited ways. There are reports England’s Premier League is shooting for a June return date, but all these reports are based on a single article in the Daily Mirror. Let’s wait for a more reputable source before taking that seriously.
UFC using a private island and also a private US site. They are not disclosing either location for now. I would think locations would leak out.
I THINK there’s horse racing going on in Oklahoma.

Horse racing never stopped in Australia, and there’s now talk of football restarting.
Rugby League is the first to try for a restart …
NRL has announced a plan to restart 28th May.
My money is that this decision, apparently made without consulting the state government, health authorities and even the broadcasters will will be rescinded or at least pushed back.
There’s been “rumors” that the NBA will have a “HORSE” tournament, Major League Baseball will play at spring training facilities in Florida and Arizona, blah blah blah.
These have all caused outrage among the media, at best they are ideas just being floated out there, at worst they are “trial balloons” being floated via social media to see how the public will react.

WWE doing 3 live shows this week with no audience .
Our local pro wrestling promotion is considering doing the same thing. Not live, but we do have a weekly TV show that airs locally, and these matches would be recorded for that. Matches would occur in the training facility, with only necessary people in attendance (referee, wrestlers, cameraman). Commentary could be dubbed in later, and there would be no need for a ring announcer.
At this stage, it’s only an idea be considered, and no decisions have been made. The wrestlers are keeping in shape in their home gyms, but they’re not training together, which they need to, and which I know they are missing. Safety first, though.
Not just rumored;it starts tomorrow (Sunday) night, on ESPN.
The Taiwanese pro baseball league started play over the weekend, but without fans.
This is both sad but also hilarious:
Kyle Larson, NASCAR driver, suspended for using racial slur during virtual race
Larson (who himself is half Japanese) was trying to do a mic check and let out the N-word.
The story also goes on to talk about how racer Bubba Wallace lost Blue Emu as a sponsor last Sunday because he rage-quit in the middle of a race while crashing.
The reason why I have to laugh a bit is that as any online gamer knows, crap like slurs in voice chat and angry quitting are part of the experience. They are very unfortunate things that represent what can happen when people are in competition, aren’t facing the people they are competing with, and (usually) have a great deal of anonymity.
(Also see John Gabriel’s Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory.)
In this case, the people involved are anything but anonymous, they are supposedly professionals, and their careers and a lot of sponsorship money is on the line. Yet they are at times acting like the 13-year-old Xbox Live trolls you’re likely to run across playing Fortnite.
It looks like the PGA is scheduling a June 11 return.
No spectators are expected for the first few weeks at least, and golf is the ultimate solo sport.
UFC doing 3 events in May in Florida with no fans.
Top Italian soccer league will start practices May 18th and probably have games start in June with no fans.
