Oh, yes, the brash main character comes into work as usual, launching into his wacky, zany, busy routine only to be stopped dead by the hilarious news that his boss’s son has died.

What godawful garbage passed for good movies in the seventies… yeesh.

I’m no fan of Shampoo; the main problem with it is that it has dated badly.

However, the early 70s (pre-Jaws) was one of Hollywood’s greatest eras, a time where serious films were taken serious and were popular. There has been a dumbing down of films since then, and it’s been a tremendous loss.
