What godawful garbage passed for good movies in the seventies… yeesh.

I’m no fan of Shampoo; the main problem with it is that it has dated badly.

However, the early 70s (pre-Jaws) was one of Hollywood’s greatest eras, a time where serious films were taken serious and were popular. There has been a dumbing down of films since then, and it’s been a tremendous loss.
