Very little, if anything, will change on Jan 31. A detailed agreement with the EU still has to negotiated during the transition period between Jan 31 and Dec 31, or longer if Johnson extends (which he says he won’t).

I’ve been interested in this stuff ever since I got up in the pre-dawn hours to watch Charles & Diana’s wedding live, and I’ve got a pretty extensive reference library. None of what I’ve written is secret information (the birth dates of the Lascelles kids, compared to the marriage dates of their parents, are documented on Wikipedia, to give an example), but knowing what you’re looking for and where to look is half the battle.
This is a Fundamental Truth that needs to be written down somewhere.
