What to do about a stolen credit card and receiving orders from it?

A bunch of fraudulent charges appeared on my credit card statement and they called me to verify if they were mine… Of course they weren’t (someone went on a spending spree buying random internet services and diet pills and even a charitable donation in my name apparently) and my card account was canceled. I found this to be odd because I’m quite anal about keeping my information secure and I haven’t even made recent purchases with this particular card, but whatever.

Fast forward to today. I receive a package in the mail for diet pills that the crook apparently bought. Why he had them sent here to my address (or how they even have my address) is strange… But sure enough, my name and address is on the packing slip. However, the phone number and email address is not mine. I Googled the phone number and it came up with a name and local address. What should I do? I obviously don’t want these diet pills and I suppose he could’ve put any phone number, but why have it sent to me? Should I tell the credit card company about this extra info (or do they even investigate stuff like this?) Is this situation familiar to anyone else?

I would report it to the police as well as your credit card company. You’ve put a freeze on your credit with the credit reporting agencies, I trust?
