What to do about the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone?

Why does anything necessarily need to be done? Personally I think it should be left alone, unless an actual problem arises. These businesses are operating normally and within the law, commerce and social order is undisturbed, and presumably all taxes etc are going to be paid as normal. There’s just a different police force on the streets. If that police force proves ineffective and/or unaccountable/etc well, then there is cause to act.

As for right wing groups like Mr Bundy’s, it might be useful to remember that they have the same rights to try their own way, without somehow violating their “citizen’s” larger protections. Right wing groups seem to forget this sometimes Stopping such behavior is a use for troops that is consistent with past experience in protecting citizens.

The potential for how such autonomous zones deal with local matters: potential violence against “outsiders”, or cooperation with the larger governments to help the community (and the police) will guide the response

Local solutions for a community’s prosperity aligned with larger government cooperation will be less stressful than rescuing folks being held hostage by some tin plated fascists.

It looks like the city is trying to take it back and wants barricades removed. Also businesses and people inside are suing the city for allowing it. Anyone here have inside information about what is going on inside.
