It sounds like he’s not suing just because they made him an offer, but because they leaked word of it, thereby using his name to get publicity without a legal agreement between them. By telling the world, “hey, we’re going to get 50 Cent to change his name for a day for us” before the deal was agreed on, they created publicity for themselves without compensating him. So his just protecting his “brand”, but in an arrogant, confrontational manner instead of stating the facts clearly to the world.
