As I noted in my OP, that’s an issue at the moment.
I think it might be everyone’s problem.
Hell, the current administration has a lot of trouble doing anything that makes THEM look good…
Obama mentioned working on redistricting reform. I’d like to see him really push that. I haven’t heard much.
I’d really like to see him throw his weight into helping the DNC get organized, and even do some campaigning, but no signs of that either.
I’m quite sure that Barack Obama is well aware that the right has made him a lightning rod figure and they will throw an avalanche of hate at anything he does in the political realm. Given this, he is being wise to avoid such things while Trump is President.
That’s the same for all ex-Presidents, of whichever party; Prime Ministers too, for that matter.
I doubt it. Or maybe I overestimate the bright lights around here to understand that experience in the field of law should be on a SC member’s resume. If you have any specific questions, feel free.
Perhaps an ex-president version of this?
CarnalK, purely out of curiosity, what do you think should be on a President’s resume?
Yeah, he almost could have done that live on TV during his presidency.
I guess strong positive priorities and a proven record to get things done? It’s an elected representative of the people and that can mean different things at different times.
