My brother and I attempted to persuade my Dad to allow us to get a Nintendo Entertainment System. We never got it. He was sure a “new one” was going to come out at some point(obviously the SNES) and that we would no longer want the old one once it came out. He was kind of right.
Anyway, we had a computer and played games on that.
