Not a trailer either, but the first time I recall getting “spoiled” was a pre-ESB People magazine cover with Yoda on it with a blurb along the lines of “Here’s Yoda! He’s a loveable Jedi Master!”
Sorry to resuscitate this old thread but I had to add this one I just saw recently.
Clash of the Titans (the remake) was just recently released to DVD. So what is smack dab on the cover of the box? Preseus holding up Medusa’s decapitated head!
I know this is a remake and all but still there is an entire generation of kids that probably never saw the original.
And in Titanic they ship sinks, which anyone who’s heard about the film knows! It’s in all the advertising!
