“Only” 212 votes? I’ve got 482 and counting (my friend has almost 600). I’m not really sure which movies to include but if my rating system is any good, it shows that movies have a quality distribution that appears to be about normal. Majority rated 3-7, and lesser amounts of anything higher or lower.

Since I first got into rating movies, it’s like I can’t stop. Almost every movie I see, I almost always immediately cast my vote as soon as I get the chance.

Yeah, I know, it’s a meager amount of votes. I started recently after how much “fun” I saw it was to vote and see how much it made a difference… or not.

I’ve voted on about 1900 movies (all ones that I’ve watched), and written plot summaries for close to 700.

I checked mine and I had 20! How pathetic is that? I thought I had at least ranked their top 100. I need to make up a ballot of their top 250 that I have seen (it is my challenge to see all 250…though of course they fluctuate.)

The only time I leave a comment or cast a vote is for obscure movies, usually seen at film festivals, I feel the need to support, knowing that the filmmakers might actually look there for encouragement.

I don’t think any of them have had the five votes necessary to become official.

Yeah, watching the top 250 (although it fluctuates somewhat) would be something. How about watching the BOTTOM 100 as well?

Heh, I’ve actually made it a point to watch a few of the bottom few. Future War for example or another movie of note, Riki-Oh.

I’ve only voted on 52 and made viewer comments on 10. Apparently I only feel like doing things to a tiny fraction of the movies I watch

Future War… is that the one with the dinosaurs and the terminator wannabe?

Ooooh yeah. Also features a warehouse consisting of stacks of cardboard boxes and a nearly incoherent plotline. Hilarious, it was.

I really only vote on the ones for which I write a full-length review - none of this “plot summary” junk. [Since they’re reviews on IMdb, they have to be “approved” before they’re put on the site - anyone here not been approved?]

I’ll wander over there later and double check, but I have 159 reviews on it.

I have 180 ratings - started a year and a half ago…avg vote is 6.44.
