That depends - does it matter to them if Obama was Muslim?
If they were were indifferent, i.e. “Obama might be a Muslim? Meh, who cares?”, sure. But who, if anyone, in America was simultaneously saying Obama might be a Muslim and that if he was, it didn’t matter? I’m guessing not a lot.

Well because some say it was racially motivated and Trump for the average white person and where some say the fear of immigrants and non whites society by year 2050 all came out of the woodwork and voted. And was more similar to KKK or fascist movement just with prettier face.
Some others say Trump was for changed and middle class disappearing really fast and jobs leaving the US and no one else had this progressive platform. Where the democratic party and republican is run and controlled by wall street.

But then almost none of the bigwigs went to jail and big companies weren’t broken up for all the crap that went down and that made people really mad and feeling the people in charge weren’t listening to them. The economy is doing better and jobs have come back for sure, but it appears a lot of people are still hurting and still scared of losing jobs in the future because of automation and jobs moving overseas or just disappearing. In hindsight, I think the previous Occupy Wall Street stuff and the current rage at the machine from both left and right all come from the same place of fear inside
