What was big reason for why people voted for Trump?

Looking at some of the Trump rally and videos I get different reasons why people voted for him and like him.

Why people voted for Trump.

Problems Trump talked about and will fix.

1 Middle class despairing really fast in US
2 Terrorism
3 Jobs leaving the US to cheaper countries and lack of jobs in the US because of outsourcing
4 Harry Clinton corruption and lies
5 Harry Clinton weak
6 Harry Clinton lack of good platform
7 White people becoming minority by the year 2050
8 Immigration taking the jobs of native born Americans
9 Mexican border issues
10 illegal immigrants in the US
11 bad trade agreements
12 globalization and weak on Terrorism

But out of the 12 what really is reason among most Trump voters and supports.

Some say Harry Clinton is weak on terrorism and bad trade agreements.

Trump has better solution to the Middle class despairing really fast and jobs leaving the US and Harry Clinton did not and did not talk about it.

CNN picture Trump is more for white people and Harry Clinton more for color people.

Some say if Harry Clinton talked about some of these problems she may have gotten in.

Trump was the “Fuck You!” candidate. Policy was never even a passing thought.

Harry Clinton, huh?

Seriously I believe the next Congress will be remembered for cutting taxes for the rich, gutting the safety net, eliminating Obamacare, an end to any attempts to deal with climate change, substantially cutting environmental protection, cutting labor and safety protections, cutting discrimination protections. These are the priorities of Trump supporters.

I actually think this is a good clue

Got it right in the very first reply to the OP.

Bin to the Go.

That’s a really good article; David Wong is both smart and funny. He really saved the best for last too (and this is something I keep trying to get people to understand):

Cool story, bro. Thanks for your insight!

That’s just it-I don’t understand them. At all. Mocking has nothing to do with it; I’d have to grasp their viewpoints in order to do that. And so far I’ve seen nothing (here or elsewhere) clueing me into any of that.

Moved to Elections.

It’s strange that one of the better pieces of journalism I’ve read is coming from cracked.com.

I think maybe it was it was totally ignorant people spouting off about Harry Clinton and color people.

Hillary Clinton wasn’t going to actually do anything for the working class. Donald Trump said he was, but everyone knows he won’t. If I vote for Clinton, the game won’t change. But, if I vote for Trump, I can flip the board over, light it on fire and maybe something will.

I get that now. A Trump vote makes some kind of sense. You cut your nose off to spite your face in the short term to try to force some long term change.

I usually don’t like to comment about politics or religion, but I’m getting real tired of people calling Trump supporters homophobic, racist, sexist or just plain stupid. I saw a new thread on here about the problem being education in the United States, too. Seriously?

Those are all easy…they take no thought. Oh…they must be racist…that’s why they voted for Trump. They must hate Muslims…or gays… No. That’s the too easy Van Dickhead (on CNN) response. (Seriously? White-lash?)

The problem is that some of us are tired of being told what to think…what to say. “That’s not who were are” they say… Well, who are you to decide who we are? “That’s not politically correct”… Why can’t I think and say what I want? Political Correctness is just a way of taking away our 1st Amendment rights without passing a law or having government actively doing the suppression.
If a Christian owned Bakery doesnt bake a cake for a gay wedding…then find another bakery. Why is your gay rights more important that their religion? Stop being such babies about everything.

Trump was the “Fuck you” candidate because the left needed to be told “Fuck you”.

Someone else on another thread mentioned that since Trumps been elected there’s an increase in Hate-crime already. Yes…but they didnt mention who was doing that. The leftist babies who lost the election. They don’t want to examine “Why” they just want to label everyone who doesn’t agree with them because they don’t want to look at what they may be responsible for.

I voted for Trump. Not cause I’m racist, sexist, homophobic or Islamophobic. That’s what the left thinks my reasoning is because it’s easy and makes them feel superior.

Who told you what to think? According to the data, a majority of Trump supporters hold racist, sexist and homophobic views. Google how many believe Obama is a Muslim or born in Kenya. Not sure where you fall on that spectrum, but I don’t see how you can credibly deny the trend.

Also, there have been reports of amazingly racist behavior since Trump was elected. Again, not sure where you land and I acknowledge there are plenty of whiny liberals, but again, you can’t credibly deny the trend.

So…if someone thinks that Obama may be a Muslim, they are racist?

What a broad brush we use…

Looks like you’re part of the problem.

It might make them an idiot, also.

Clinton got less than 10% of the vote in my county.

We have a black sheriff, I voted for him.

We’re just not very good at this racist thing.

If I saw you pick up a dog turd and eat it, the particulars of your motive would not be foremost in my mind.

Bon appétit.

Here’s something the media is currently trying to ignore:

exit polls both nationally and in PA, MI, and WI, the states that elected The Donald show that with voters who chose terrorism as the most important issue, Trump won in a landslide. In a close election in which the nation and the electoral states were within margins small enough that if opinion polls, would be a dead head, this kind of matters. Hillary actually WON on the economy. It was radical Islamic terror that beat Hillary.
