What was the most worthwhile class you ever took?

Although I enjoyed my botany and linguistics classes, I think the most worthwhile class I ever took was my Teaching Introductory Psychology class. It did a lot for me-- I’m more organized, I communicate more effectively, I’m no longer intimidated by speaking in front of groups of people, and I have greater confidence in my knowledge. The material I taught was also valuable-- we had sections on developing critical thinking, memory, problem-solving, and time management skills. You can’t teach those skills for two years without adopting them (or at least elements of them) into your life, and they’ve definitely been helpful to me.

My only regret is that I didn’t take the teaching class sooner; the skills I learned would have helped me in a lot in my other classes.

United States Air Force Survival School.

I learned a lot of really valuable information, and have used it on many occasions.

Most importantly, however, I learned a lot about myself. Kind of like a practical Outward Bound trip that lasts for 31 days.

I have two, actually, and they were both during my last semester of senior year in high school, last spring.
