My cat doesn’t care much for cat toys, and she doesn’t like going outside, so I’d like to find her something to keep her occupied, and at one point in time some friends of mine had a cat toy, that their cats just went nuts over. It was a large plastic plate about 18 inches in diameter, which had a ball trapped in it that the cats could bat at and it would roll around the edge of the plate. In the center of the plate was some cardboard for the cats to claw. Anybody know?
There’s this and this.
Don’t know what they’re called but I’ve seen the first one for sale in supermarkets.
This has everything except the cardboard center.
Look familiar? Show the cats and see if they want you to order it.
Something like this?
They’re close, but not exactly it. The one my friends had, the cats could get at the ball from the top, and not the sides. (BTW, everybody’s pretty much linked to the same toy.)
Like this?
I present the Turbo Scratcher. My cats love it too. I saw it most recently at Target and the Animal House, so it shouldn’t be hard to find – especially with the name.
Ding! We have a winner! Thanks.
When I saw this thread title, it made me think of two things.
- The “busy bee” scene from Best in Show.
- A store in town that I’ve gone by many times but always meant to look at their website. It’s called Custom Cat Purrrniture and sells what its name suggests, kitty furniture. I must say that the “Castle Royale” sure is fancy pants (and a price to match!).
