What was your best moment this year?

The moment I found out I got a job promotion and transfer to south FL, where I’ve wanted to live for years. I’ve never been happier and the job rocks my socks. That was a fantastic moment.

At four am on June 4th, my friend Max leaning over me and asking if he could kiss me. This started a summer a fling that was suppose to end when I moved to California two weeks later. That didn’t quite work as he’s currently in the other room snoring. Although the three months we were separated by three time zones were hard, since he dropped everything and moved out here, it’s been the best times of my life.

The night the nurses work me up at 4:00 am to say my youngest twin Serena wouldn’t take the formula. And then although massively sleep deprived was able to get a full feed down her with the help of a high tech baby bottle (Habermann Feeder). This meant 30 day old Serena went 24 hours without the use of a feeding tube, and would be able to come home soon.

I don’t know what’s more surprising. The fact that you’re such a fan of Chiliwack or that they are still together.

Gone gone gone, you’ve been gone so long
Gone gone gone so long…

I love that song!

Seaplane ride over Vancouver. Yeah, I got pictures.

Another precious moment - just found out an hour or so after I posted my original “I’m going to be a grandma post” that another daughter is pregnant as well! 2006 is going to be a GREAT year for this grandma to be!

Got a house, got a spiffy new computer…

Both strong contenders for best moment. The house is especially nice as it ended my househunting ordeal and allowed me to get away from the apartmuntfuhrer.

Do I hear a whoosh, or did you miss the rest of the post?! It was an Alice Cooper concert in Chilliwack!

Gotta agree though, Chilliwack rocked! There was “Something I liked about that!”

Let’s see, anything exciting this year? Hmmm, let me think…

Our first baby!

Hubzilla, congratulations! I’m having my first baby too! And I’m 62!

My best moment was on Mother’s Day when my step-daughter, a law student, presented me with her own adoption papers that she has drawn up. Wow. Oh wow!

Hmm no babies or trips or love in my life this year…

My best moment was probably my first night in my new house. All of the inspections, phone calls, paperwork, painting, nailing, packing, and moving was done. Now, I have total freedom.

My worst moment was when my friend/crush Sam told me we couldn’t talk or hang out anymore. Something changed in him and it breaks my heart every day thinking about him and wondering how he is feeling inside. I’m way past the “lost love” aspect of it. I just hope that he is doing well.
