What was your favorite Choose Your Own Adventure book?

Oh, yeah. Revenge of the Rainbow Dragons ruled.

And let’s not forget the Lone Wolf books–those were wicked cool.

As I think about it more, I think my all-time favorite was the Time Machine novel where you get to go back to the Middle Ages. Gardyloo, indeed.

Damn you Scott Plaid, I was going to win the thread with that link!

Yeah, but it won’t satisfy my need for instant gratification.

The first one I read was “Journey Under the Sea”. But my favorite was “Your Code Name Is Jonah.” Can’t really remember anything about them other than one or two particular pages.

Mystery of Chimney Rock (yes, I could unlock it), Who Killed Harlowe Thrombey and Deadwood City were my three favourites. I read the first twenty or so before outgrowing them.

I liked Antimatter universe where the author wen’t into way too much detail about why he hated fascist police states. Also, I remember owning one about I think karate or something japanese related where there was a single page that wasn’t linked to the rest of the book. It wasn’t a joke page but seems to have just been forgotten in editing. It drove me crazy combing every single sentence of that book trying to find out how to get to that secret page.
