Isn’t it frustrating to be able to remember that you used to read something, even some of what the art looked like, but have no idea of the title?
In this case, it was a web comic. The main character was a bald guy with I think a goatee and his wife who was not skinny but not that large either, and he had a boss and coworkers as reoccurring characters.
But the key thing about the strip was that the art was rotoscoped or traced photographs of the people so it was very consistent, non-cartoony art.
If you guys have already figured out the OP’s question, can I add one of mine in the same vein? I’ve been racking my brain trying to remember this the last couple of days.
It was around several years ago, and seems to have disappeared. I think it used to be on Keenspot, though I didn’t see it mentioned in the archives. The subject was a little alien boy (looked like your typical “gray” but small and cute, and wearing typical little-boy clothes and kind of a toque/stocking cap). He’s going to school with human kids. His mom is kind of hot for an alien. I think the aliens had tiny antennae, and the boy wore the toque to hide his (mom didn’t wear a hat and was bald like her son). The thing I most remember about it was that both the art and the writing were quite good for webcomics of the day.
