Didn’t see another thread out there on this oddly enough.
So what did you dress up as this year? Myself, I was caught off guard as I was supposed to be out of town on business so I didn’t have anything planned. I had 2 days to come up with something so I painted a sweatshirt and my hair and went as Skunkboy. (picture to come since I’m at work right now)
What about you?
I went as Uma Thurman from Kill Bill (and I’m a guy).
Basically, matching ugly yellow sweatshirt and sweatpants from a generic t-shirt supply store down the street with electrical tape to make the black stripes on the sleeves and pants.
Blonde wig from Party City
Cheapest samurai sword I could find on eBay
Spraypainted old tennis shows yellow to match the sweatshirt and sweatpants
Covered everything in red paint (fake blood) per the movie
Duct taped two balloons to the inside of the sweatshirt to form boobs (tape prevents the boobs from moving around)
And just in case people were clueless, I made an iron-on on my computer with a picture of Uma Thurman in the outfit and the header from the movie and ironed that to the back of the ugly sweatshirt ‘explaining’ what my costume was.
Won first prize and “most original costume” at work for it.
