Semi-auto rifles of a certain barrel length? I think that’s next.

You know you’re a dork when you see the title of this OP and think, “Cool! they’re talking about the Average White Band”

On topic, I’m sure that short barreled semis are next, unless somebody on a rampage with some particular weapon and the PTB get all worked up over that weapon. It won’t help if that weapon is also seeing a lot of play in the popular media, such as movies and TV (Tec-9, anyone?)

I don’t see it being an issue of barrel length. The non-banned Ruger Mini-14 has a shorter barrel than the once-banned AR-15. I think the next try will be banning any longarm that has the capability of accepting any loading device capable of holding more than ten rounds of ammunition. Or six rounds, with an exception for .22 rimfire longarms.

I’m betting .50 rifles.They are big and scary-looking, the average joe has been told they can stop tanks(sure, if the tank was made during the first world war), and california just banned them.

And it would make just as much sense as the AWB.

Summary
