What won't be affected by the rising price of gas?

I expect prices in all stores to have to go up to cover the cost of delivery. And the manufacturers of those goods will have to cover their rising costs. I imagine any service type businesses involving vehicles of any type will raise prices. Cabs and buses and delivery services, check. Electricity? Quite likely, especially if it’s from gas-fired or gas-turbine power plants.

Cable TV? Maybe not - depends upon how much of their cost is tied to their fleet of repair and installation vehicles.

The only sure bet I can come up for my area with is the produce sold by the local Amish farmers.

Any other thoughts?

All goods are shipped. So I would guess the only things not affected by gas prices would be services transmitted via communication mediums (e.g. writing code for a customer, then emailing it to him).

Nothing comes to mind.

AOL trial membership disks will still be free.

Well, that’s a relief, isn’t it… :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, I forgot that we’ll still get a few dozen emails every day for fake Rolexes, drugs to make my member the size of a compact car, offers from nice Nigerian gentlemen and lots of pr0n.
